Women Empowerment Programmes

Our women empowerment programmes focus on the holistic manifestation of womanhood and the feminine with a goal to bring a perfect balance, socially, economically and psychologically.

The Need of Empowerment and Training for Women

Jawaharlal Nehru once said "You can tell the condition of a nation by looking at the status of its women."
Women are entitled to live in dignity and in freedom from want and from fear. Empowering women is also an indispensable tool for advancing development and reducing poverty. Women have not actively participated in their emancipation due to their lack of economic independence and illiteracy. In nearly every country, women work longer hours than men, but are usually paid and acknowledged less. The roles that men and women play in society are not biologically determined -- they are socially determined, changing and changeable. The key lies in women empowerment through economic self-sufficiency and higher awareness levels on social, political and legal issues. There is also a need to recognize and emphasize the diverse roles of women such as reproductive, productive and community management. In our capacity building programmes we especially seek to strengthen the public voices of women; Self-discovery is the first step towards the path of enlightenment.  The main aim of the programme is to strengthen their voices in the public arena, and thus enhance the quality of life of women through increased knowledge and skills.
